Thank you for taking the time to browse through some of my favorite photos.
Spring came early in March with temperatures of 70 and 80 degrees, but we got blasted with 10" of snow in April to remind of us real Buffalo weather. :-)
Last year was a very busy and successful year. I spent a worthwhile month photographing Monarchs from
the size of a pin until they hatched from chrysalis stage as butterflies. They were amazing to observe
and the awe of watching something so small, grow incredibly big, and fly away within a month was
breathtaking. I did a lot of research and enjoyed helping these Monarchs for a small part of their very
long journey. I raised and released over 20 Monarch butterflies in 2011.
Although I am mainly a nature photographer by choice, I have taken pictures at some very unique events.
One of my favorites in 2010 was photographing Rottweilers at a Schutzhund event.
Some of my pictures can be seen at www.wesburgs.com/Godzilla.htm. These photographs were used
in an advertisement in the Total Rottweiler Magazine. The issue came out in April 2011 and was published
in 93 countries.
All photos are printed without my name and will be matted and placed in a protective sleeve.
